The Poitjiekos Competition is the traditional final event in the Royal Natal Yacht Club's annual Windhoek Regatta. Contested both on and off the water winning this regatta requires more than just sailing skills. The Poitjie Competition is judged on taste, presentation and preparation with some trying very hard to make up for ground that they lost on the water. The pictures that follow show just how far some are prepared to go to win the coveted title of Poitjie Champion.
