Taariq Jacobs, RSA 1319: 29; 39; 46; 19; 13; 14; overall position 74

Today (Saturday 30 – 3rd day of racing), the sailors sailed a further three races in each division. Direction of the wind was about 15 degrees different to yesterday. There was a lighter wind, between 8 and 10 knots, with some very big shifts coming through. The conditions were very difficult. Official results are not out yet, but it appeared that our best result today was a tenth. (Brevan)

There will be team racing tomorrow at St Moritz Lake. Our team has not qualified – so we will be sleeping in, exploring the countryside, and watching the racing – from Alison’s hotel window!

We are having a two-day break, including the team-racing day, and we will be back online on Tuesday 2nd August – for race 10.

The boys are in high spirits, and looking forward to the break.

Cheers for now from:

Taariq
