Also at the Vaal Dam but in the North Bay at Aeolians Club the Northvaal Multi Class Dinghy Champs took place.

This regatta was well attended with some 60 odd dinghies in 5 classes taking part. The regatta started off slowly with little to no wind on the first two days. The second two days were quite the opposite with good breeze and some great sailing taking place. By then of the regatta most classes had sailed 11 races and there were some tired sailors all round.
