7 yachts took part in a moderate south easterly breeze. This wind normally makes the venue one of the best in S.A. for radio sailing. A good Olympic course was used and 10 races were held with all yachts on the water every race. There were some very close finishes seen with no room for error.

The winner was Keith Gerson on 12pts.including 6 firsts. The current KZN Provincial Champion Robert Stenner came 2nd on 16pts with Martin Stephens 3rd & Neil Young 4th.

The next MRYC. event at Camps Drift will be in 2 weeks time & will see the return of Club Commodore Des, Fairbank at present in Italy competing in the International Marblehead Class World Championship.
