Is it not alarming that members need to read in the press about what is happening with their clubs??!! And you are absolutely right, the merging of the clubs appears to be the best-kept secret on the sub-Saharan continent. As Johannesburg members, we don't even get the benefit of a newspaper article.

For PYC members, being a member of a club that has no club house is not that far removed from the present (we do have a great pub that would be a sad loss!). I assume, however, that the development includes changes to the Durban Marina as well as the clubs and the absolute absence of communication from the management of both institutions is nothing short of astonishing.

What more can one say?
