1. ORGANISING AUTHORITY
The regatta is organized by the Zululand Yacht Club under the authority and sanction of Sailing KZN.

4. ELIGIBILITY
The regatta will be open to any keelboat with clearance to sail offshore and is in possession of a valid IRC Handicap Certificate.

6. PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIP CONDITIONS.
The Championship will be subject to a minimum of five valid entries.
The skipper and crew of the winning yachts will be eligible for medals and colours points in accordance with the Sailing KZN rules.

7. ADVERTISING.
The regatta will be classified Category C in terms of RRS Appendix 1, Regulation 20.

8. NOTICE OF RACE.
The Notice of Race will be sent to all Kwazulu Natal Clubs and will be published on the Smooth Sailing website early in 2003.

13. SCHEDULE OF RACING
Racing will be on Triangular and/or Windward Leeward courses offshore Richards Bay, and may include a medium distance race.

14. SCORING.
The 'Low Points' scoring system RRS Appendix A4 will be used in conjunction with the applicable IRC handicaps.

15. MOORINGS.
Moorings at the ZYC marina will be made available, free of charge, for all visiting competitors.
