RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
1. Eligibility: This competition is open to all current South African
Sailing (SAS) members, excepting the Technical Committee of the Hunter Class
Association, Representatives and Employees of Texwise, Representatives and
Employees of Fast Yachts, or their immediate family.
2. Entry: Entry is Free. Entries may be submitted as follows;
2.1. Via email, to the email address provided – (provided that any one
email is restricted to 150kb in size.)
2.2. Via Fax, to the Fax number provided – (list colours clearly)
2.3. Via Mail, to the postal address provided.
2.4. Every design submitted shall be viewed, send each Design only once. Send as many designs as you
choose.
3. Closing Date of Competition: 17h00 April 30th 2003.
4. Judging: The judge’s panel is made up of the Hunter Class
Technical Committee, and Representatives of Texwise Gauteng.
5. The WINNER shall be announced on the Class Website , www.hunterclass.com on 1st May 2003.
6. The Judge’s decision shall be final and no correspondence shall be
entered into.
THE BRIEF:
1.
Design
a Sail Insignia for the keelboat which has for so many decades been known as
the Hunter, now renamed the F19.
2.
The
design should be in keeping with the new name, interesting and vibrant, but at
the same time perhaps projecting the history of the boat.
3.
Designs
incorporating the above, plus which are cost effective and workable in terms of
being able to weather many years of sailing, will be considered preferable.
4.
Only
two colours are mandatory, Red and Black.
